Who is This Grumpy Curmudgeon?

I'm a writer and cartoonist, both career-paths or avocations begun early in life. Back then I wanted to be an animator for Walt Disney...but I couldn't draw Mickey Mouse right. So I tended to go my own way and just do whatever came to me. Weird travels have taken me down many a bypath, have followed wispy promises until I was lost, changing course each time I discovered a new "secret treasure map". At this point I have given up trying to let my own will guide me; henceforth I listen only to intuition, which I hope is divine. I'm not always grumpy; seldom, even, but that's what my granddaughters call me.
